Rent The Runway, an e-commerce site for dress rentals, had a tedious checkout process when the site first launched. Users had to go several steps in different pages in the checkout process after already spending much time looking for the perfect dress to rent! This design streamlines the input of the user's shipping and billing information so the checkout process is easier on them. Immediately after launch we noticed a drop in customers abandoning their rental at this point of their shopping experience.
