In 2018, One Kings Lane—sellers of expertly curated furniture and home décor—underwent some restructuring to capitalize on the growth of their interior design business. The company was also experiencing an increase in inventory which needed to be easily accessible on the website and app. To this end, we set out to give the site’s main navigation an update with the goal of increasing access, exposure and findability of key categories, content and especially new lines of business. This included increasing visibility of company’s Interior Design Services and To The Trade at the top navigation level, as well as providing flexibility for site merchandisers to add or remove shopping categories as needed.
